The secrets crushes, the hidden grudges, the triumphs, and the horrors: with a guest reader, nostalgic tunes, and a cast of top improvisers, #DearDiaryPDX takes the writing you vowed you’d never show anyone, and turns it into an hour-long show.

At each show, the Dear Diary players invite an interesting grownup to read passages from their teen writing to inspire a long-form, improvised show! Past guest diarists have included Portland Mercury “geniuses of comedy” Katie Nguyen and David Wester, Mortified alumni Darshanpreet Gill, Monica Parmley and Fara Tucker, and Women’s World Pinball Champion Champion Zoë Vrabel!

The Dear Diary players are Natalie Haddad (Kickstand CVLT), Katie Kester (Show Ridiculous), Roland Mechanik (Cut and Run), Brianna Núnez-Webb (Papa?), Emily Shankman (Kickstand CVLT), Emilie Sites (Papa? Improv) and host Anne Zander (JUICEBOX).
